I’m Rebecca Kirk, a Career Coach specialising in career transition and redundancy support. I work with individuals and organisations to provide both practical guidance and compassionate emotional support during times of change.
Having navigated my own corporate career transitions, I understand how unsettling redundancy can feel – for the individual experiencing it and for the organisation managing it. My approach is calm, holistic and human. I combine clear, practical career strategy with space to rebuild confidence, process change and regain a sense of direction.
Whether I’m supporting an individual one‑to‑one or partnering with HR to provide outplacement-style support, my intention is always the same: to help people move forward feeling valued, supported and ready for their next chapter.
I work with both private clients and organisations, delivering coaching on a One-to-One basis. I create a personalised programme which meets individual needs, based around some of the mindset and practical support areas below.
Every client has access to coaching worksheets and tools which support their ongoing development as well as guiding our sessions. The programme kicks off with a Work Life Assessment which enables clients to take an overview of their life and start making positive changes which can restore balance.
Sessions are held via webcam or in person in and around Manchester. The recommended frequency of sessions is either every week or every fortnight, depending on the client’s circumstances.
I offer 3, 6 and 9 session One-to-One Redundancy Coaching packages.
Redundancy Coaching support is structured around my signature Forge Your Path career transition coaching framework – a grounded and empowering process that helps you move forward with clarity, calm and confidence. Based on the principles of my book You’re Here for a Reason, this framework also draws on 10 years of coaching experience, plus personal experience in navigating career transitions.
